Fitbit Air: a screenless fitness band

According to 9to5Google, Google is preparing to launch a new wearable called Fitbit Air. It is a fitness band with no display, and it is expected to be positioned as a direct rival to Whoop-style devices.

Why it’s called “Air”

The Air name points to the device’s slim, lightweight design. Fitbit has previously used the same kind of naming in its accessories range.

Fitbit Premium becomes Google Health, with Google Health Coach

The software and subscription model is also set to change. Fitbit Premium is expected to be renamed Google Health, while the AI coach features will be separated into a standalone service called Google Health Coach.
